My Dog Anchor

My Dog Anchor
Karen

My Dog Anchor is a very playful creature. He has a pair of adorable brown eyes and cute floppy ears. His face has a tiny black nose and some yellow beard around his mouth. His body is black and he has four very strong legs. Anchor is a Schnauzer and Jack Russell cross. His hobbies are eating, sleeping, and playing. Anchor is a funny dog.

One sunny afternoon, Anchor was trying to find some tasty bugs in my backyard to eat for his snack. Then he dug up a big fat worm with his front paw. So he started to enjoy his food. Just then, a bald old man wearing a brown sweater and a pair of navy blue jeans walked by our house riding a silver bike with a bag of groceries in the little basket at the front of the bike.

Anchor hates it when people step on his property, especially when he is enjoying a tasty snack. So Anchor started to bark very loudly at the old man. The old man SCREAMED at the top of his lungs and rode away as fast as he could.

The next day, the old man came back for his revenge. He was really mad about what Anchor did yesterday. So he decided to play a trick on him. He took a GIANT pillowcase; he cut two holes for his eyes, and one squiggly mouth out. He tried to look like a ghost so Anchor would get scared by him. The old man sneaked into my backyard and shouted BOO! But instead, Anchor thought he was funny, he picked up his tennis ball with his mouth and dropped it in front of the old man. Hoping that the old man will play fetch with him. However, Anchor smelled something familiar “Oh it’s the old man who disturbed me when I was eating my snack yesterday” thought Anchor.

The old man’s plan had failed. Anchor chased the old man until he ran two hundred miles away from my backyard and never ever came near my house again.
THE END!!! : )
